Knitting and Crocheting and Finger Knitting -

Enjoy these age-old skills! Learn the basics or build on your existing ability. Open to beginning and intermediate students of all ages eager to work on individual projects. Needles and yarn will be available for practice. Basic knitting skills such as casting on, knitting, purling and casting off can be covered. Basic crochet skills such as single crochet, double crochet, crocheting straight across or in the round can be covered. Basic sewing skills will be covered as needed, depending on project choice and development.

Fiber Arts-

In a comfortable atmosphere, students are invited to learn the unending joy of creating with string and yarn. Students will see for themselves that, once a few skills are set into place, they will begin to create beautiful fiber creations. Sessions are focused on strengthening existing skill sets and expanding them! Begin where you are and

Handwork-

Students will expand their knowledge of handcrafts in a fun and inspiring way. They will gain greater insight into the abundant creative opportunities of fiber arts/crafts. Greater comfort with the material will be gained. Handwork is a wonderful way to increase hand-eye coordination. Handwork requires the simultaneous use of hands and eyes, therefore developing one of our most powerful skills. The skills learned can bring joy to many areas of students’ lives.
